Die Lorelei.

I really wanted to make the Lorelei for so long.
But I had not the materials to do it.
Now I am proud of the result.

Lorelei, who sat on a rock at the Rhine river (Germany), attracted sailors with her songs.
Her voice and also her beauty caused many boat accidents because navigators were to captivated by her.

Here can you read the wonderful poetry written by Heinrich Heine (in German):

Ich weiß nicht was soll es bedeuten,
Dass ich so traurig bin;
Ein Märchen aus alten Zeiten,
Das kommt mir nicht aus dem Sinn. Die Luft ist kühl und es dunkelt,
Und ruhig fließt der Rhein;
Der Gipfel des Berges funkelt
Im Abendsonnenschein. Die schönste Jungfrau sitzet
Dort oben wunderbar;
Ihr goldnes Geschmeide blitzet,
Sie kämmt ihr goldenes Haar. Sie kämmt es mit goldenem Kamme

I read the poem in German class and went to Germany. I went to Germany and would not be satisfied until I went to the Lorelei. Wonderful piece. :D

I was there too!
I lived in Germany when I was a little girl and I often visit the Rhin river, its medieval castles. But it was a very long time ago!

Dommage que l'image soit trop petite ici.
L'originale est beaucoup plus grande que ça, je crois que je vais poster quelques détails de l'image.
